HUD Section 811 NOFA Released

Funding Opportunity:
HUD has published the FY2010 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities Program.  The NOFA includes approximately $114 million in Capital Advance and PRAC funds to create approximately 899 new units of supportive housing for non-elderly people with disabilities.

The reformed Section 811 program - which was signed into law by President Obama in January of 2011 - will be implemented during FY 2012.
