The call will explain the details of the collaborative, which staff persons should participate, and the schedule of meetings and calls and answer any questions you may have. A GoToMeeting link will be provided to those who register (please use the phone to call in and not a headset attached to the computer). A pre-work packet will be sent to participating organizations on December 16th. The introductory call will review that as well and discuss submission later in January.

Community Event

A community workshop to re-think how the Durham Continuum of Care prioritizes permanent housing through Coordinated Entry. This workshop will be interactive. The North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness will facilitate discussions and activities to help attendees think about how to improve the permanent housing Coordinated Entry System.

Who should attend: Any agency that serves people experiencing homelessness and participates in the Durham Continuum of Care. We're especially interested to hear from agencies that work within other systems too, like the criminal justice system, healthcare, or the school system. We also strongly encourage agencies to attend that serve groups that may have a hard time accessing the homeless service system, like agencies that serve youth, people who identify as LGBTQ, people with limited English proficiency, immigrants, and refugees, among others.

If you have questions about the workshop or who should attend, please contact Emily Carmody.
