How to develop your own practice scenarios
Consider the different decision points across the workflow. For example, there are five Priority categories for the Shelter Waitlist. What is the workflow for each of those types of clients?
Try to create 6 households, each one is a different Shelter Waitlist Priority.
What would questions on intake have to be to make them cover all of the categories?
Based on their resources and living situation. Temporarily divert 1 household no financial assistance, temporarily divert 1 household with city-diversion financial assistance, permanently divert 1 household, refer 1 to shelter as if they are accepted, refer 1 to shelter as if they no-show, refer 1 to shelter as if the shelter declines.
