CASA - Maintenance Technician

CASA is a non-profit agency whose mission is to develop and manage affordable housing providing opportunities for successful living in the Triangle region.  Our housing is for persons of low wealth; specifically persons who are disabled, homeless, or veterans who currently lack such housing. CASA owns and manages over 400 apartments in Wake, Durham, and Orange counties. 

This is a full-time Maintaince Technician position that will perform gerneral maitance repairs including, but not limited to work orders, preventative maintenance, unit make readies for move-in, and on-call after hours as required.

Job Requirements


Time management skills
Ability to be self-motivated and a self-starter
Ability to work both independently and/or with a small team
Good oral and written communication skills
Customer service oriented
Good boundaries and judgment skills
Knowledge of fair housing laws

Education Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
