NCFH Webinar: An Introduction to Young Homeless Families

This webinar will provide an overview of the characteristics of homeless families, including young homeless families. Young families are defined as young mothers age 18-25 who are parenting children under age six. Understanding young adult and early childhood development is essential for providers serving this population. Participants will learn about the experiences of families and children who are homeless, the developmental stages of young homeless parents and their children, and how to promote healthy development for these age groups.
