Medical Respite Webinar: Filling a Void in Homeless Health Care

The Respite Care Providers' Network describes medical respite care as acute and post-acute medical care for homeless persons who are too ill or frail to recover from a physical illness or injury on the streets, but who are not ill enough to be in a hospital. This webinar provides an introduction to medical respite care and offers advice from leading experts on starting a medical respite program, including research supporting medical respite, funding strategies, and common start up challenges and solutions.
