Creating a High Performing Rural Continuum, Part II: Increasing Stakeholder Engagement and Strengthening Collaboration

On Thursday, June 24 at 3 p.m. ET, the National Alliance to End Homelessness will host a webinar entitled Creating a High Performing Rural Continuum, Part II: Increasing Stakeholder Engagement and Strengthening Collaboration. This webinar, hosted by the Alliance's Center for Capacity Building, is the second in the series complementing Critical Success Factors in High Performing Rural Continuums of Care, a paper the Alliance released in March. Webinar presenters will include Melany Mondello and Scott Tibbits of the Maine Balance of State Continuum of Care (CoC) and Ragan Claypool of the Wood, Seneca, Ottawa, Sandusky (WSOS) CoC in Ohio.

The webinar will provide an overview of the infrastructures and services of these CoCs. The speakers will present strategies aimed at strengthening interagency coordination and collaboration in order to address key challenges in a rural CoC. They will also discuss how to engage government, nonprofit, and nontraditional stakeholders and how to manage accountability to maximize the benefits of collaboration. Finally, speakers will highlight their most innovative and successful partnership strategies, including how they leverage funding and other resources.
