North Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of Community Assistance will hold a public hearing on February 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the offices of the North Carolina Division of Community Assistance, Methodist Building, 1307 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27605. Notice is hereby given that amendments to the 2006-2010 Consolidated Plan, 2010 Consolidated Annual Action Plan, 2008 Amended Consolidated Annual Action and the North Carolina Citizen Participation Plan for housing and community development programs was published January 15, 2010 and available for public review and comment.  

 

Copies of proposed amendments will be available on the websites of the North Carolina Division of Community Assistance (www.nccommerce.com) and the North Carolina Office of Economic Opportunity (www.dhhs.state.nc.us/oeo/) . Copies are also available by request from the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of Community Assistance and will be distributed to all of the regional offices; contact Pauline High at (919) 733-2850 ext. 237 to receive a copy.

Comments concerning the 2010 and 2008 Amended Consolidated Annual Action Plans, 2006-2010 Consolidated Plan and the North Carolina Citizen Participation plan may be made at the public hearing. Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 and may be made via email (pauline.high@nccommerce.com), fax (919-733-5262), or mailed to Vickie Miller, Attn: Public Comment, North Carolina Division of Community Assistance, 4313 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-4313. All mailed comments must be postmarked no later than February 13, 2010.
