The Road Home in Salt Lake City, U T provided rapid re-housing assistance to 120 families in the first three months of implementing an initiative funded by HPRP and TANF. Michelle Flynn, Associate Executive Director of Programs for The Road Home, will discuss how the organization forged a partnership with the state TANF ag ency to pilot a rapid re-housing program to reduce the length of time tha t families reside in their program's winter overflow shelter program. Ms. Flynn will also discuss how that pilot program informed their current r e-housing program model including their existing rental assistance and ca se management strategy. Ms. Flynn will review lessons learned and program refinements underway to continue Salt Lake City's progress in ending fa mily homelessness.
