Six communities across the state recently engaged in a 100-day challenge to meet aggressive goals toward ending veteran homelessness. Now, the six community teams will reconvene at the Sustainability Review where they will celebrate their impressive achievements and look toward what’s next. We invite 8 to 10 participants from each team to attend this event. All participants must register by June 10, 2016.

The six communities include:

• Gaston/Cleveland/Lincoln Counties
• Onslow County
• Pender/New Hanover/Brunswick Counties
• Rowan County
• Wake/Durham/Orange Counties

This is a two-day event held at two locations.

Please note that because this is a secure facility, only those on the event list will be admitted. Please make sure everyone from your team registers for the event, so we can ensure everyone is on the event list.

A full lunch will be provided on site from 12:30 to 1:30. Then at 2 p.m. at the same location, the teams, along with the Task Force and other state leadership, will be presenting during the entire 2 hours of the monthly meeting of the Governor's Working Group on Veterans and Their Families. The subject for the day will be Ending Veteran Homelessness.

This event is made possible through funding from the State of North Carolina, and there is no charge for participants. If you have food allergies or other dietary restrictions, please note them in the “Comments” section of the registration form. Participants will be responsible for transportation, lodging, breakfast, and supper expenses.
