JAMA Article: Supportive Housing Cuts Cost of Caring for the Chronically Homeless

The latest issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has issued an article focusing on the cost-effectiveness of supportive housing and future directions in homelessness. The article catalogues a growing body of evidence suggesting that it is more cost-effective to provide individuals experiencing chronic homelessness with supportive housing than to allow these individuals to remain on the street, where they may require costly public services.
