North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness

NAEH Performance Improvement Calculator

The National Alliance to End Homelessness has created the Performance Improvement Calculator, an interactive tool that allows communities to use local cost and performance data on homeless programs to model strategies that decrease homelessness. It uses program budget information and key data from Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) to determine the cost per permanent housing outcome for different interventions within your community, such as emergency shelter, transitional housing, rapid re-housing, and permanent supportive housing interventions.

Communities that participated in the HEARTH Implementation Clinic held in Winston-Salem in 2011 can use the Homeless System Evaluator Tool data to fill out the Calculator.

Please visit the NAEH website to download the Calculator.
